About the Role
P3 Hotel Software is looking for an Onboarding Developer to join our growing onboarding team. In this role you will be responsible for building and configuring client environments on the Custom+ platform, taking projects from design handoff through to go-live. You will work closely with Technical Account Managers (TAMs), designers, and the wider onboarding team to deliver high-quality builds that directly shape the first impression our clients have of the P3 platform.
Key Responsibilities
Build & Configuration
Complete onboarding builds on the Custom+ platform accurately and on time, in line with approved designs (Client Bible).
Develop HTML/CSS for client headers and footers, extracting and adapting assets from Figma.
Carry out database configuration work to the required quality standard before handoff to the TAM.
Self-review all work before marking tasks as complete and incorporate feedback from code/build reviews.
Project & Workload Management
Manage your own workload across multiple onboarding projects, prioritising in line with client go-live dates.
Keep task status up to date in JIRA and flag capacity constraints or delays to the Onboarding Team Lead promptly.
Identify and raise potential blockers, unclear requirements, or Client Bible issues before beginning build work.
Communication & Collaboration
Provide clear and timely updates on task progress to the Onboarding Team Lead and TAMs via Google Chat, JIRA, and team meetings.
Work effectively with designers, TAMs, and other onboarding builders to ensure smooth handoffs between project stages.
Participate constructively in team meetings, in-office collaboration days, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure all builds accurately reflect approved designs and meet P3 quality standards.
Raise recurring quality issues to the Onboarding Team Lead for systemic resolution.
Contribute feedback to improve onboarding documentation and processes based on hands-on experience.
Look for ways to complete build tasks more efficiently, including openness to AI-assisted tooling.
Skills & Experience
Required
HTML/CSS development skills, particularly for web header/footer or email work.
Ability to extract and adapt design assets from Figma into a web platform format.
Familiarity with database configuration concepts and ability to review technical requirements.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-first approach to development work.
Clear, professional communicator — comfortable working across tools like JIRA, Google Chat, and video calls.
Organised and self-motivated, able to manage tasks across multiple concurrent projects.
Nice to Have
Experience with a LEMP stack environment (Linux, Nginx/Apache, MySQL, PHP).
Familiarity with project management or ticketing tools such as JIRA.
Previous experience in a SaaS or hospitality technology environment.
What We Offer
Interest in and openness to AI tools for development efficiency.
A collaborative and supportive team environment with structured onboarding and training.
Clear performance dimensions and development pathways to grow within P3.
The opportunity to work on client-facing products that make a real difference to hotel operations worldwide.
Regular knowledge sharing sessions, peer reviews, and in-office collaboration days.
Support for professional development and upskilling in relevant technologies.
